Lake Manasarovar is located roughly 30km from Mt. Kailash and is one of the greatest freshwater lakes in the whole world. This gorgeous and sacred lake is the main pilgrimage spot for Hindus as well as Buddhists. It is believed that by taking a bath in this sanctified lake we can wash away all our sins. This is the greatest beauty on earth. While visiting this lake you can also take a close look to the Chiu Monastery, located on the northwest shore Manasarovar. 

Gyantse

Gyantse is located 254 km south-west of Lhasa. It is among the least Chinese influenced towns in Tibet. Here, we’ll get to visit the Gyantse Dzong and Gyantse Kumbum. The Dzong is a fort built in the 14th century. In 1904, Tibetans courageously battled against the British attack by Colonel Younghusband at the loftiness of British colonial objectives in Asia. The Kumbum is a large gold-domed stupa in Mandala-shape. Its several small chapels house is a remarkable display of Tibetan Buddhist frescos.
